Because my spell-check recognizes “Bachelor” but not “Bachelorette”

Holy shit, shut up.

Actually, it might be because you’re really, really dumb.  The correct (or if you prefer, “original”) term for a female bachelor is “spinster,” which I note my spellcheck does recognize.  ”Bachelorette” is a neologism of comparatively recent origin (sources say 1935) which did not become widespread or popular until several decades later.  It also bears mentioning that “bachelorette” isn’t even really etymologically correct as if we’re working in English it would be more proper to use “bacheloress,” but that’s a minor point.

For that matter, not all dictionaries include the term either.  While the OED and Merriam-Webster do, the Cambridge and MacMillan dictionaries do not.  Is it such a surprise that the comparatively limited spellcheck dictionary does not?  This is not a matter of misogyny.  This is not a matter for feminism.  This is just you not bothering to look at etymology before opening your mouth.

(Also, my spellcheck doesn’t recognize “misandry”.  Or my middle name.  Or “spellcheck”.)

Also, I’m pretty sure you can add words to the dictionary in the word processor so that the spellchecker will recognize them.
